Welcome to Milestones Crèche & Montessori.

Milestones was established in February 2004 and is under the quality care and management of Nuala Hutton. Milestones is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Friars Green off the Tullow Road in Carlow. The crèche is purpose built and designed in a child friendly manner. The centre is bright and spacious, complete with both indoor and outdoor play areas. We have an extensive secure outside play area where the children can play daily.

Where you leave your child during the day is likely to have a major influence on them in their formative years of life, therefore please choose with care and consideration.

Here at Milestones Childcare Centre, we believe that children need an opportunity to explore and experience a variety of activities. We treat each child as an individual and listen to their every need.

Milestones policy is to create a home from home environment for our children with not too many rules, but of course plenty of fun.

Children are free to select materials and activities of their own choice. Those children attending Montessori class have a more structured program.

We want to provide the best for your child and yourself so that you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your child is in good hands.

The Crèche consists of:

Toddler Room	Dining Room
Playschool	Kitchen

Children attending our Childcare Centre are divided into groups, depending on their age and level of development.

Our Nursery is bright and airy and is equipped with individual cots.

There are a wide variety of toys and materials available specific to each age group and in accordance to each childs level of development.

Full time care:	7.30 am - 6.30 pm
	5 days a weeks including 3 nutritious and varied meals plus snacks
Part time care:
Montessori:	9.00 am - 12.30 pm
Playschool:	2.00pm - 5.00 pm

We provide a full-time care programme for up to 29 children from Monday - Friday during the hours of 7.30 am to 6.30 pm. We open all year excluding Bank Holidays, Good Friday and 2 weeks at Christmas.

Milestones provides an environment whereby children from the age of 3 months to 12 years can socialise and interact with children their own age. We also provide a facility where children are in a loving, caring and educational environment and that their safety requirements are met.

All children are provided with a well-balanced menu. This includes a breakfast, a morning snack, a hot nutritious lunch, dessert and afternoon tea. Sample menu.
